Tennessee Vols Injury Updates, As They Get Set To Play Alabama

After going down with an injury late in the Ole Miss game, QB Hendon Hooker will be available against Alabama. Josh Heupel has said all week that Hooker would be day to day after suffering a bad knee bruise. The Vols were, and are, prepared to use Joe Milton if needed tonight.

This run game will benefit the Vols in their offensive scheme, as Tiyon Evans also traveled to Tuscaloosa. The Vols running game will need all the help they can get, especially with an offensive line that is still dealing with injuries. In related news, Jaylen Wright and Dee Beckwith also traveled to Alabama and are warming up. Len'Neth Whitehead is not on the field.

The Vols will be without OL Cade Mays, who suffered an injury during the Ole Miss game. But in good news, Cooper Mays has traveled with the team today. Keep an eye on the rotation in that group as the Vols bring multiple backups to town.

Christian Charles did not travel today for the Vols, neither did Kingston Harris.

The Vols defensive unit traveled Bryson Eason, but Elijah Simmons was left at home due to injury.
