Tawny Kitaen’s Brother Jordan Speaks Out About Her Death

Tawny Kitaen was a broken woman at the time of her death last Friday. The 59-year-old actress, best known for her role in the 80s classic movie Bachelor Party, passed away from a 'broken heart,' according to her brother Jordan. Jordan Kitaen says that the death of their father to cancer sent Tawny into a deep dark hole which eventually led to her sudden passing. The Orange County coroner’s office said the star passed away at her home in Newport Beach, California. The cause of death was not immediately released. The death of Tawny seems innocent, as no foul play was found at the scene. Her brother told TMZ that police didn't find anything at the scene which suggested drugs or alcohol were a factor in her passing. Tawny was reportedly "devastated" by her father's passing back on April 12th after a long battle with skin cancer. Her brother again stated that the two were very close, and Jordan said their father's passing was too much for Kitaen to handle. He described the two as being incredibly close. Jordan stated that he spoke to Tawny the evening before she was found, and that she was excited about Mother's Day plans and that, despite some setbacks in the past, she was in a 'good place.' Right now, her brother said the family has yet to make a final decision about where Kitaen will be laid to rest.
