T-Wolves’ Karl-Anthony Towns Could Miss ‘A Few Weeks’ With Dislocated Wrist

Videos by OutKick

Minnesota Timberwolves’ star big-man Karl-Anthony Towns is expected to miss at least a couple games with a dislocated wrist. The Wolves are off to a 2-0 start, so this is a major blow to their momentum.

Unfortunately for NBA fans, we won’t get our chance to see KAT go head to head with Anthony Davis tonight. Just a few minutes after news came that Towns would miss tonight’s game, the Lakers announced Anthony Davis wouldn’t play either.

With the current state of NBA ratings, this is bad news.

If the Wolves finally make the playoffs, they’re going to need D’Angelo Russell and the rest of the roster to step up, which they haven’t done in years past. If history repeats itself, then the T-Wolves are about to fall off in a big way.

Best wishes to KAT on his recovery.

  1. I`m not surprised by this. As a looooong suffering wolves fan in Mpls, i`m used to seeing this movie. Whenever something good happens for this team you can count on something like this coming along. Same wrist as last year. he`ll be out 3 weeks. It`s the most cursed franchise in sports.
