Sylvester Stallone Says Conor McGregor Has Big Disadvantage Heading Into UFC 264 On July 10th

The next big UFC event is fast approaching, as the third battle in the octagon between Conor McGregor and Dustin Poirier is set for UFC 264 on July 10th.

McGregor is the big storyline for the event, and one famous Hollywood actor who knows a thing or two about fighting had his say about the event and who he thinks has the edge in the fight.

One hint - it's not McGregor.

That star from Hollywood is "Rocky" himself, Sylvester Stallone, who spoke about the upcoming event with TMZ outside Giuseppe Franco Hair Salon in Beverly Hills.

"Poirier has the big-time advantage," Stallone said to TMZ Sports. "You got a really hungry, young guy (Poirier), and then you got a guy who's made a lot of money but he's also sorta hungry (McGregor)."

This third fight between the two fighters should be a good one. McGregor knocked Poirier out in the 1st round of their first fight, way back in 2014.

The second time around was a very different story. Poirier won the rematch with a 2nd round TKO at the UFC 257 event in January 2021.

One thing Stallone is quick to admit is that both men are vicious fighters and that the bout could easily end with one punch.

"That one, I swear, you really flip a coin on. It's like who hits first," Stallone said.
