Bengals Choose Super Bowl Uniform Combo

Cincinnati, as the AFC representative, is this year's Super Bowl home team. This means Bengals get to choose whether they wear white or dark jerseys.

Wednesday, the Bengals announced they'd wear black tops and white pants against the Rams.






Some fans were holding out hope the Bengals would wear their signature orange tops, perhaps the best jersey in the NFL:






However, the NFL does not allow teams to wear alternate uniforms in the playoffs. So it was black or white for the Bengals, they chose black:






And for betting purposes, that's huge.

Teams wearing white jerseys have won 14 of the last 17 Super Bowls. White jerseys have become so dominant that teams with the first choice, like the Bucs last season, often choose white.

The Rams will wear white jerseys, with either blue or yellow pants.

So not the best color combinations for the eyes -- with black, orange, white, blue and yellow all on one field.
