It's all but over for the Los Angeles Clippers. Entering Monday night, they trailed their Western Conference finals series vs. the Phoenix Suns by a 3-1 count. And as Larry Bird said when his Boston Celtics trailed the LA Lakers in the 1987 Finals, "I know when we're up 3-1, I say it's over."

Then again, the Clippers are coached by Tyronn Lue, who helped guide the Cleveland Cavaliers to the title in 2016. How did the Cavs beat the Golden State Warriors that year? By overcoming a 3-1 deficit.

But these Clippers aren't like those Cavs. These Clippers don't have LeBron James. These Clippers don't even have Kawhi Leonard, the star forward who has missed the entire series with a knee issue.

Oh, and Chris Paul, Devin Booker and the Suns are at home. So everything is all set up for them to bounce LA.

As it stands, the Clippers are a +5. Go with the Suns. It could be a battle early, but overall, the Suns have too much working in their favor. They should pull away at the end and win this fairly convincingly.

Meanwhile, the over-under is 213. Take the under. The Suns will score lots of points. The Clippers won't. Their offseason begins tonight.
