USWNT Player Korbin Albert Booed By Fans In Atlanta After Apologizing For Social Media Post

US Women's National Team Player Korbin Albert heard boos when she stepped onto the pitch in the second half of the USWNT's match against Japan in the SheBelieves Cup.

The boos came about a month after Albert heard it from teammates and former USWNT player/loudmouth Meghan Rapinoe for re-posting part of a sermon that included talking about how being gay and "feeling transgender" is wrong.

While Albert apologized, that was not enough for woke fans who really wanted her to wallow in it.

Of course, I can't imagine many other players would get booed for re-posting a video that had to do with their faith, even if they didn't agree with what was being said.

Having said that, fans have every right to boo players, even if you don't agree with why. But there's some real irony about this situation.

I guarantee that a lot of the fans booing Korbin Albert, are the same ones who got all up in arms when others criticized the 2023 USWNT that competed at the World Cup. That team was quite possibly, the most unlikable team to ever wear the Team USA jersey in any sport.

I mean, between the lack of effort and what looked like a lack of pride in representing the US, take your pick; there was a lot to boo.

This is another reminder of why you never apologize when pressured by wokesters, by the way. It does nothing but let them know they can continue to mess with you.

Albert said she was sorry — and it was a lengthy mea culpa — and they still gave her grief the next time she stepped on the pitch.

They didn't care about the apology, they just like beating up on a 20-year-old who either A). shared a clip that had to do with her faith or B). goofed up on social media.

Albert's Teammates Gave Statements About Her Post After She Had Already Apologized

You'd think that an apology would be accepted if that was what people who had a problem with the video actually wanted, but of course, it was not.

Instead, her teammates were asked about the video ahead of the match to really twist the knife on Albert.

"We're extremely, extremely sad that the standard was not upheld," Lindsey Horan said per Daily Mail. "Our fans and our supporters feel like this is a team that they can rally behind. It's so important that they continue to feel undeniably heard and seen."

Alright, anyone else? Alex Morgan, perhaps you'd like to take a dump on your young teammate? You've never made a mistake when you were younger. Did something stupid like getting so hammered they threw you out of Epcot… oh, wait…

"We stand by maintaining a safe and respectful place, especially as allies and members of the LGBTQ+ community," Morgan said. "This platform has given us an opportunity to highlight causes that matter to us- something that we never take for granted."

'It is also important to note that we've had internal discussions around the situation,' Morgan continued. "And that will stay within the team. But one thing to note is that we never shied away from hard conversations."

Again, this happened a week after Albert apologized, thereby confirming that she had learned from her "mistake." But again, progressives don't want people who run afoul of their doctrine to learn, they want them to suffer.

The apology should have been the end of this story. As we all know, however, that's never enough. Everything has to be dragged out so Korbin Albert really feels it and pays for it.

It's sadistic and gross.

Even if you think Albert made a mistake, she doesn't deserve such a drawn-out walk of shame.
