Tyreek Hill Young Videographer Fired By NFL Gets Last Laugh

A few months ago, 21-year-old videographer Kevin Fitzgibbons thought his career was over when the NFL revoked his media credential for literally having fun. But now he's getting the last laugh (and a much better paycheck!)

Last season, the college student was hired in a freelance capacity by the Miami Dolphins to capture video and social media content for the team. Some of his videos went viral - including many of Tyreek Hill, who would end up befriending him. However, after Hill scored a touchdown in one game and grabbed Kevin's camera while doing a somersault in the air with it - Kevin's media credential was revoked by the NFL because they said he acted inappropriately by allowing Tyreek to use his camera, and also because Kevin celebrated on the sideline.

Talk about the No Fun League living up to its' name!

VIDEOGRAPHER COULDN'T ATTEND ANY MORE NFL GAMES

After learning of his fate that he was essentially banned from attending NFL games in an official media capacity, Kevin posted his story on Twitter at the time.   That resulted in millions of views as well as thousands of replies calling out the NFL for their ridiculous punishment and what looked like possibly ruining his future.

However, last night, Kevin proved that he was able to bypass the league's BS and overcome any adversity by announcing a new business venture that already sounds a heck of a lot better than anything "get off my lawn" Roger Goodell could offer.

CALLING HIS OWN SHOTS!

In a video post across his social media, Kevin says that after being fired by the NFL he still remained in contact and doing freelance work with Tyreek when things suddenly quickly escalated. The Miami Heat reached out to him for content, while other players like Saquon Barkley, Luka Doncic and RG3 hired him as well to help create viral moments.

And now Fitzgibbons says he has partnered with another creator and launched F2 Media - which helps athletes and companies secure branding deals. He's already worked with the UFC, the Dallas Mavericks and has plenty more lined up with some of the biggest names in the industry.

Boom!

Absolutely love this story.

I can only imagine being 20-yars-old and feeling like your whole entire world was falling down because of something you did - especially when what you did "wrong" wasn't even wrong. It's not like he got hammered and cursed off the boss at the annual Christmas party - dude was literally just excited about the content that he knew Tyreek had just given him with the touchdown celebration.

Let this be a lesson to everyone out there - in the words of Empire Records, "Damn the man, save the Empire."

In Kevin's case, he's about to build his own empire.
