The Most Epic Walk-up In Baseball History

Josh Lavender of the Savannah Bananas walked to the plate Thursday night in the most epic fashion we've ever seen. The man strolled up with a caddie to hand him his bat at home plate after handing him his pitching wedge, and then receiving a smile from the catcher that confirmed his 'W'.

This is nonnegotiable: 10/10, sir.

Most often, the internet is making people of all ages starve to be different and sometimes it comes across as "trying too hard." This, however, is one of those offerings that can only happen because of that internet pressure. Something magical happened when someone thought to walk out like a golfer. We all love golf (and suck at it), so it was refreshing to see this level of creativity in a sport that almost frowns upon it today.

Also, shoutout to the caddie for dressing up like it was Halloween. He probably knew this would be worth it as they're now internet sensations, but still, props for the Amazon caddie order -- brilliantly executed. And for those who claim he went too far: the guy has dirt stains across his chest and has already proven he can play, so now he gets to do whatever he wants to entertain. Can't forget that's why they're out there.
