Jonathan Isaac Walks Back Statement That White House Was Attacking Easter By Transgender Holiday

Jonathan Isaac called for Americans to not forget the meaning of Easter Sunday after President Joe Biden declared today "Transgender Day of Visibility."

The Orlando Magic forward  - who is a devout Christian and strong conservative - wrote on X that people should not just focus on how infuriating Biden’s announcement was. Rather, Isaac encouraged Christians to put more effort into celebrating what makes this day special.

"They want you to hate! This helps no one and only promotes division. They know exactly what they are doing.. we should be angry but shouldn’t lose the spirit of what tomorrow means!," Isaac wrote. "Don’t lose focus. Because He is risen there is hope for all."

Shortly thereafter, Isaac followed up on his original statement by adding that the Biden administration has acknowledged the holiday to celebrate transgenders in the past. Isaac believed that this means that the White House did not intentionally antagonize Christians by making an announcement about the day.

"In the name of fairness Biden did recognize the day last year when it didn’t fall on (Easter)! That’s important, and to me, releases the administration from the allegation on intentionality!," Isaac wrote. "Instead of deleting the tweet like it never happened this is my good faith retraction lol. The message is the same. Keep focused on what Resurrection Sunday Is all about. Christ defeating sin and death for all people who would believe."

Biden Has Purposefully Tried To Hijack The Meaning Of Easter

While it may be true that the Biden administration has celebrated the "Transgender Day of Visibility" in the past, there’s more context that suggests Biden and the White House were minimizing Christians and Catholics on one of their most important days of the year.

Fox News reported that the organization "Children of the National Guard" were prohibited from submitting Easter eggs with religious designs for the Easter Egg Roll. Instead, the contestants were asked to limit their designs to their experiences of being in National Guard families.

All told, the Biden administration was certainly trying to minimize the religious influence of today's most important holiday, even if it has celebrated this transgender-themed holiday in the past. Therefore, Isaac had no need to walk back his statement, even if it was well-intended.
