Joe Biden Cancels Super Bowl Interview With CBS. It Wouldn't Have Been Good Anyway

Were you looking forward to a CBS interview with Joe Biden on Super Bowl Sunday?

If you were, I hope you have more things to look forward to in your life. If not, no worries, it's not going to happen anyway.

Biden declined to interview with CBS, the network that will broadcast Super Bowl LVIII. This marks the second year in a row Biden declined to do the Presidential Super Bowl interview.

Last year’s situation made at least a little sense. Fox broadcast the NFL’s biggest event of the year last season, so it's sadly predictable that the most liberal president in American history wouldn’t want to interview with a - gasp! - conservative network.

But this year doesn't quite make that much sense. Biden reportedly doesn’t have an issue with liberal network CBS, so this is more surprising when you look at it from that angle.

On the other hand, this isn’t all that surprising from another perspective. You can always rely on Biden to do two things: champion the woke agenda, and find a way to botch an interview.

It’s frankly expected of him at this point. Whenever you put Biden in front of a microphone, you’ll almost always hear him spew an incomplete sentence, incorrect facts, or a long spell of mumbling that makes it sound like he’s drunk.Biden probably did CBS a favor in the long run. It would likely have been a terrible interview anyway.

Plus, it's an election year, so Biden can’t afford any extra opportunities to get some bad publicity. When a Super Bowl interview becomes an opportunity to damage your reputation, that’s when you need some help.
