Jameis Winston Explaining Why He Can’t Watch Too Much Looney Tunes Is The Most Jameis Winston Thing Ever

Jameis Winston seemingly can't help but be one of the biggest characters in the National Football League, and his explanation for why he can't watch too much Looney Tunes with his sons is the most Jameis Winston thing to happen since he ate a W.

Winston — who is now adding his name to the long illustrious list of quarterbacks under contract with the Cleveland Browns — was on-hand for the Sport Fishing Championship's The Catch event last month and took some time to chat with CBS Sports.

In the interview, he was asked, "What's something about you that a lot of people — or no one — knows about Jameis Winston?"

I feel like that question could have led in any number of strange directions, Jameis gave the relatively tame answer that he loves watching cartoons.

But of course, his answer veered into Jameis Winston territory.

"I'm a big Looney Tunes fan," Winston explained, before saying that he likes watching the iconic cartoons with his young sons.

That's awesome. Who doesn't love some old-school Looney Tunes mayhem?

However, he added that he and his kids don't watch too much of Bug Bunny and Co., but that's because he can get a little wound up from it.

"I get a little silly when I watch Looney Tunes, I don't (want) them to see me in that space."

Wait… what happens?

Does he start dropping ACME-brand anvils on people? Develops an insatiable appetite for roadrunners? Can't help but ruin some short bald guy's rabbit-hunting trip?

Not, quite but he does bust out impressions… sort of.

Jameis dropped Bugs Bunny's trademark "What's up, doc?" but he's definitely no Mel Blanc.

His Goofy? That was a little bit better.

"I got a little bit of Disney in me too. Like Goofy," Winston said, before dropping a not-terrible version of Goofy's laugh.

Like I said up top. Jameis Winston continues to be one of the NFL's great characters. If he makes the jump to broadcasting when his playing days are up, that'd be must-see-TV.
