Jameis Winston Gives Electric Mardi Gras Interview: VIDEO

Jameis Winston is a BIG fan of New Orleans and Mardi Gras.

The New Orleans Saints quarterback just finished up a one-year deal with the team, and will now enter free agency. However, it sounds like chances are very high he'll return to the Saints for one simple reason:

The man can't get enough of New Orleans, and he doesn't care who knows it.

Jameis Winston hypes up New Orleans during awesome interview.

"There's not another place in the world like New Orleans. Just the culture and just the love that is here. I really admire it," Winston said during his now-viral Mardi Gras interview with WDSU.

Not only was he fired up to celebrate Mardi Gras and New Orleans, but he made it clear he would take a picture with every single person who asked. That's a very classy move.

The city of New Orleans simply might have to make Jameis Winston the mayor after that interview. That was nothing but pure energy and passion.

Who knew a simple interview during a Mardi Gras celebration could result in a free promo for the city? You can't fake that kind of joy and happiness.

You either have it or you don't, and Jameis Winston is clearly overflowing with love for New Orleans.

I haven't been to New Orleans in more than 15 years, but there's no question it's an awesome city. The history, food, bar scene and culture are all great. Now, is the food very healthy? No, but one weekend there won't kill you. At the very least, we now know the Saints QB loves everything about the city. Let me know your thoughts about New Orleans at David.Hookstead@outkick.com.
