Drew Brees Posts Montage Video Of Him Scrambling After NFL Network Analyst Claims He's Un-Athletic

When you hear the name Drew Brees, you probably think of an undersized quarterback with a rocket launcher attached to his right shoulder and just an overall all-time great signal caller. You wouldn't think of him being the most athletic quarterback to play in the NFL, but you certainly wouldn't make the claim he wasn't athletic.

Unless if you're Michael Robinson of the NFL Network.

During a recent segment on the network, Robinson, a former Super Bowl champion with the Seattle Seahawks, was asked to give a comparison for Bo Nix, the recent first-round draft pick of the Denver Broncos.

Without much hesitation, Robinson described Nix as an "athletic Drew Brees" before joking that "you're not going to see Drew Brees do a lot of quarterback draws or things like that."

Well, Brees caught wind of Robinson's take, so he decided to post a montage video of himself scrambling around the field and leaping across goal lines during his time in the league.

In typical classy Brees fashion, the caption of the video was nothing but complimentary.

"I had to have some fun with this one! I appreciate the comparison @real_mike_rob . Bo Nix will be a stud in the NFL. I still haven’t seen many QBs doing this though…gotta be an athlete! Tape don’t lie!"

Brees played 20 seasons in the NFL and very sneakily had 20 or more rushing attempts in 15 of them before finishing his career with 25 rushing touchdowns and just over 750 yards on the ground.

As for Robinson's claim that Nix may be an athletic Brees, if that's the case, then we may be talking about a generational quarterback by the end of the former Auburn and Oregon quarterback's career.
