Major 'College Football 25' Details Announced, Gameplay Footage Released

The first look at the gameplay for "College Football 25" is finally out.

The first college football video game from EA Sports since 2013 hits shelves July 19th (July 16 for those buying early access), and hype has hit a deafening level.

People are absurdly excited, and it's not hard to understand why. It's been 11 years since the popular video games series last dropped a new game. We were living in a different world in 2013.

Well, we're nearly there, and the gameplay video is going to amp people up.

"College Football 25" gameplay video released.

EA Sports previously released a trailer in mid-May, and that had people going absolutely wild. Well, the gameplay video is going to do the exact same.

It was released late Friday morning. If you were expecting the game to be epic, then it looks like you're not going to be disappointed.

Give it a watch below, and hit me with your thoughts at David.Hookstead@outkick.com.

If you're not amped up and hyped for "College Football 25," then I'm not sure you're a friend of mine. I can't even put into words how pumped I am for the game to drop.

I used to play it all the time in college. We'd come back from the bars and cook up the wildest matchups imaginable. Now, 11 years later, I'm buying a PS5 just to play the new version from EA Sports.

My girlfriend might think it's nerdy as hell. She's correct, but she doesn't understand the rush of building a dynasty with the worst team in the game. Only those of who have accomplished it know the joy it brings.

Keep checking back to OutKick for the latest updates as we have them. I know many of you will be riding with me, and I consider it an honor to have you all here. Definitely let me know what team you're playing with at David.Hookstead@outkick.com.
