Auburn Fan Tossed From Game With His Team Up 24 Points At SEC Tournament For Arguing With Refs, Blows Kisses

Just when you thought all of the Auburn fans that made the trek to Nashville were going to be in a great mood during the Tigers rout of South Carolina, one fan decided he had seen enough from the officials.

I don't know if this Auburn fan had taken his wallet to Broadway for a pregame tailgate that extended into Bridgestone Arena, but he decided that chirping at the officials was the right move, with his team up more than twenty points.

As Auburn continued to decimate South Carolina in the second half of the second SEC Tournament game in Nashville, one fan wearing a sweatshirt that read ‘War Eagle’ had seen enough of some foolish calls from the officials. So doing the logical thing, he decided to use a few choice words with the officiating crew, that even had Auburn head coach Bruce Pearl wondering what was going on just a few seats behind him.

After officials approached the slightly looking intoxicated fan, a decision was made to escort the Auburn fan out of the building, to the delight of fans from all teams in attendance. It was while he was being led out of the arena that he decided to show off his theatrical state, blowing kisses towards the fans, and officials.

I would say this guy had himself a blast on Broadway before entering the Arena, given that he was causally making his way up the stairs like he had just won an Oscar for best performance.

Auburn Fan Got An Early Exit From The Arena In Blowout Win

I truly hope this Auburn fan did not spend a lot of money for those seats located behind the team bench, because he would certainly be feeling the same way as Tennessee fans who shelled out for a Friday exit. In the case of this animated fan, I'm glad he wasn't escorted out like a complete criminal, just told to get the heck out of Bridgestone Arena.

As for his eloquent exit, I do have to give him credit for not putting up much of a fight. This guy knew he had screwed up, but needed to make sure everyone in the arena knew he was heading home. Who knows if he'll be let back in tomorrow, seeing that Auburn won the game 86-55 and will play in the Semifinals on Saturday.

But hopefully this guy is enjoying a drink at the honky-tonk, while purchasing a disguise for tomorrow.
