Hawks Head Coach Quin Snyder Gets Ejected For Going Irate On Refs - Should Have Been For His Hair

After flipping out on a referee, Atlanta Hawks head coach Quin Snyder was sent back to the locker room after being ejected in the second quarter of Friday night's game.

With 4:25 left to play before the half, the red-glasses sportin', suave-hair flowing Snyder ran up to referee Eric Dolan. Snyder was upset that Raptors center Jakob Poetl wasn't called for a moving screen. The result? Hawks All-Star guard Trae Young was shoved to the ground and injured his hip.

WHAT'S WITH THE HAIR?!

As you can see in the clip, Snyder was IMMEDIATELY ejected. I mean, the refs didn't even give him a chance to catch his breath. 1 technical, 2 technicals anddd you're outta here!

Crew chief Karl Lane said that Snyder was issued the first technical for "charging towards an official aggressively," while also using "profane language," while the second one was because he "continued to do so."

Any lip readers out there? Would love to know what exactly Snyder said that would cause him to be ejected so quickly. Something tells me it was what George Carlin taught us many years ago.

Honestly though, the coach probably shouldn't have been allowed on the bench to begin with after showing up with that look. Hey Quin, you're not playing the Brooklyn Nets - you don't have to dress like a Williamsburg hipster, my man!

Also, is this not the perfect photo for a "WHOA!" meme:

REFS ADMIT THEY MESSED UP

In the end, it turns out that coach Snyder was rightfully allowed to be pretty angry with the call.

In a shocker to NO ONE that has been following the NBA in recent months, the referees admitted that once again they blew a call and that it was indeed a moving screen.

"During the time on the court we felt that Jakob Poeltl got to a legal guarding position, but when we looked at it at halftime, we did notice that it was illegal leg-to-leg contact and there should have been a foul called," referee Karl Lane said.

Then why not go back into the locker room and allow Snyder to return to coaching? Seems only fair, right? Why does the coach suffer for doing something wrong and not the referee for blowing the call in the first place?

To add insult to (fortunately) what was only a short-lived hip injury to Trae Young, the Hawks ended up losing to the Raptors 123-121.

It turns out, coach Snyder actually does know basketball. Now only if someone could teach him fashion.
