Social Media Reacts to Floyd Mayweather-Logan Paul Fight Announcement

Let's run it back with another Paul brother getting into the boxing ring. Except this time, it will be Logan Paul instead of his brother, Jake, and his opponent will be a former boxing champion.

On Sunday, it was announced that Floyd Mayweather Jr. would come out of retirement (kind of) and face off against the YouTube star in a "special exhibition" sometime in Feb. of 2021. That is big time news, especially with how the first fight turned out between Jake and Nate Robinson.

More importantly, social media decided to have some fun with the news, and it went about how you would expect. Check some of these out:

There are so many more worth watching, too.

Somewhere, Robinson is smiling. We'll never see it because he is probably still in hiding, but we can feel it. It's not every day that you get a former boxing champion coming out of retirement to avenge you.

I mean, I'm sure the paycheck had way more to do with the decision, but the 43-year-old is "risking" his undefeated record. Surely it won't be for nothing.
