We almost didn’t have MACtion. Think about that for a second.
If all those coronabros had gotten their way, this would be another lame weeknight of just sitting at home and stressing about an election over which we have no control.
Instead, we are getting quality-ish, entertaining football in the middle of the week.
MACtion made its return on Wednesday, and the lead-up was absolutely electric. Seriously, how did we almost let this not happen? There are things worth fighting for. This is one of those things.
Whether it was the anticipation of the first game or the reactions throughout the evening, the social media reactions have not disappointed. We have always appreciated MACtion, but it just means a lot more nowadays.

We deserve this moment.
As much as 2020 has thrown at us, we deserve just a few hours of peace and happiness. Even if it only last for a little while, we can always get together next week and do it all over again.
That is the beauty of MACtion. It is never going to let us down. In a world full of uncertainty, it brings a level of comfort and reliability.ย Man, it feels good to be a little closer to normalcy.
