SNL Spoofs CBS Super Bowl Pregame Show

Videos by OutKick

Two or three times a year, SNL gets creative with its cold openings. Saturday night, the show spoofed CBS’s NFL pregame show ahead of the big game.

Take it away, James Brown:

Eh, not bad. B- or so?

Aidy Bryant changing coaching outfits mid-show was a good touch.

I get that CBS has the Super Bowl and will be the most-viewed pregame show, but the NFL Network is also airing its own show and has the characters — Michael Irvin — that could’ve made this far more entertaining.

By the way, is James Brown’s mustache that stylish in real life?

  1. Kenan Thompson has had a hell of a career in sketch comedy. Not really happy to see him trying some kind of sitcom that I’m pretty sure will be hot garbage, but the man needs to get paid, and if lucks into syndication he’ll be golden.
