“The former Texas quarterback was looking for a new home after losing his starting quarterback job to Sam Ehlinger at the end of the 2017 season. Ehlinger redshirted the following year and then transferred in 2019 to SMU, where he immediately became the starter and led the Mustangs to a 10-3 record.”

  2. SMU is a good team, the most talented team in the state has always been A&M most of the last decade and Vegas would have the Ags favored on a neutral site vs. every team most years in Texas. I think Dykes would be a good coach in Austin once the Herman gets fired. I was huge fan of the late Spike Dykes. Even before the Cincinnati blowout, our fans would think the sky is falling if A&M barely beat Memphis.
