Smashed? Lead Singer Steve Harwell Goes Off The Rails During Smash Mouth Show

Just a week after it was announced that Smash Mouth lead singer Steve Harwell was on the disabled list dealing with heart issues, there was the nutjob on stage with the band Saturday at "The Big Sip" show at Bethel Woods Center for the Arts in Bethel, New York. According to one TikTok user named Haley, who uploaded highlights from the performance, Harwell put on "the most chaotic show I've ever seen in my entire life.

The highlights included Harwell saying “I’ll f--king kill your whole family, I swear to God,” and, “If I could suck my own d--k, I’d never leave the house.”

There's also a segment of TikTok users that believes Harwell was doing a Nazi salute during the wild performance.

Was Steve smashed? Was he just exhausted after dealing with medical issues and it led to a wild show for mostly 40-to-50 somethings who were there to sip wine and spiked seltzers/ciders or whatever the elite drinkers enjoy these days?

So far Harwell's not answering questions surrounding the "chaotic" show.

While Haley has provided strong evidence that the show was a disaster, doesn't it feel like a Smash Mouth show in 2021 is supposed to be a mess? By now, we should just expect Steve to be a disaster and embrace it.

If you want to see more of the chaos from Steve and the band, there are two tour dates on the schedule: October 16 in New Haven, KY and Oct. 27 in Pleasanton, CA. Plan your weekends accordingly.

Don't go complaining if Steve goes off the rails.
