Sidney Crosby Should Get An Oscar For This Dive

After a goal that brought the Pittsburgh Penguins within one of the Boston Bruins -- it was all hands on deck to tie the game. Penguins star Sidney Crosby then decided that would be the perfect time for the flop of the year.

Seriously, it was Oscar-worthy. Watch:

This play brings me to the point I've always made about the NBA: The players flop because it's worth it. We've watched hockey players, pro and amateur, continue on without teeth, but pretending to be hurt is worth it sometimes. In this case, Crosby pretended to be stabbed by Zorro at center ice and was rewarded with a last-second call from the zebras.

Fortunately for the Penguins, Patrice Berguson's "strike" to Crosby led to a four-minute double-minor. But luckily for humanity, the Boston Bruins held on 7-5 in a thriller.
