Shannon Sharpe Blocks Kevin Durant, But Not In Basketball

Brooklyn Nets star Kevin Durant is known for being hyper-sensitive to what fans and media members say about him on social media -- dating back to the days when he was caught using fake accounts to defend himself on Twitter.

So leave it to Durant to point out that former NFL great and current FOX Sports professional talker Shannon Sharpe has blocked him on Twitter.

"But I'm sensitive," Durant wrote above a screenshot of Sharpe having blocked him.

Sharpe's maneuver came just a few hours after Durant referred to Sharpe as a "drunk uncle" after attributing an allegedly fake quote to Durant on Undisputed.

“Kevin Durant thought by winning the title, people would regard him universally as the best player in the NBA. Better than even LeBron James. But very few people were willing to go there,” Sharpe said. “And then he’s like…Because he said it. ‘If LeBron James is the GOAT. I beat the GOAT twice, and hit the shot in his building. What does that make me?’”

Durant followed by insisting that he never said the things that Sharpe attributed to him.

This all follows a well-publicized Twitter feud between Durant and actor/comedian Michael Rapaport earlier this month, when Rapaport shared some strongly worded direct messages sent from Durant.

But now there is a new game in town, and this time it involves Durant vs. Sharpe. And as is often the case in Twitter wars, there isn't any winning. Just various degrees of losing.
