SEC Media Days Will Be Online

In a decision that is not stunning in the slightest, the SEC announced today that SEC Media Days will be virtual as opposed to in-person. The event was originally scheduled to take place from July 13th through July 16th in Atlanta.

The event will now take place later this summer, though a date has not yet been specified.

"Conducting football media days in a virtual format will provide us the opportunity to manage the event in a healthy manner as we continue to be impacted by COVID-19, and will provide flexibility for our programs to adjust their preparation for the 2020 football season according to the preseason calendar that is expected to be expanded due to the cancellation of the spring football season," said SEC commissioner Greg Stankey. "We look forward to returning to our traditional media days format in 2021."

Hopefully he is right that we will be back to normal gathering by this time next year.
