Home field advantage has been literally nonexistent in the NFL this season, giving New Orleans Saints head coach Sean Payton an outside-the-box idea: what if 50,000 fans quarantined in a bubble so that the Superdome could be rocking for the Saints’ first playoff game?

“I brought up the idea of testing 50,000 people and quarantining them in a hotel and having the safest Superdome known to man,” Payton says. “Scientifically. Bus them, they’ve tested every day. You’ve got a COVID-free facility. I think that’s possible.”
There might be only a few NFL fan bases psycho enough to quarantine for two weeks in a hotel room to spend a few hours at a playoff game, but the Saints might have one of those fan bases.
Credit to Sean Payton for being creative. It would’ve been a fascinating social experiment to see all these logistics put into action.
Sound like his soft spineless QB
Don’t need the advantage….they’re playing Trubisky for heaven’s sake…..
