Sammy Guevara and Sasha Banks Address Guevara's Rape Comment [UPDATE]

AEW wrestler Sammy Guevara has apologized, both directly to WWE wrestler Sasha Banks and to the public, for comments that Guevara made on a podcast several years ago saying that he wanted to rape Banks.

This has all happened within the context of the #SpeakingOut conversation, in which a large number of allegations of sexual assault and/or emotional abuse have been made in the professional wrestling industry.

UPDATE: AEW announced that Guevara is suspended indefinitely for the remarks:
