There are two NBA Playoff games on the slate tonight, but we are going to focus on the first game of the night between the 76ers and Hawks. As usual, we are going to go for a Same Game Parlay (SGP). For those who don’t know, we play SGPs no risk, high reward. Thanks to FanDuel, as long as you bet $10 or less on a SGP on the NBA Playoffs, we get our money back, even if we lose.

We are going to start with our two superstars in the series. Trae Young has hit four three pointers three times in eight playoff games. He is also getting eight attempts a game in this series. As long as Simmons doesn’t guard him the entire game, and he shouldn’t, I like Trae’s odds to get to four or more three pointers today. Take him to start the parlay at +230.

Now we move onto Joel Embiid. Embiid had only 27 points last game, but the first two, he had 39 and 40, respectively. I’m looking at him to get back over the 30-point total. Specifically, and for this parlay, I’m taking him to get 35+ points. That line is +200 and makes our parlay already almost an 8-to-1 payout. Embiid is averaging 15 free throws already this series and 10 field goals. That’s an average of 35 points if he just does the same thing that he’s been doing this series.

My last play is taking another big name in the series. Ben Simmons hasn’t been hitting 10 assists at any sort of alarming rate, but he got there in Game 1. In the other two games, he had seven assists in both. The total on him for tonight is 7.5 at -110 both ways. If you want him to get to 8 assists, he is at -118, so it is reasonable to assume the books are expecting him to get to 8 assists. I’m going for a bigger payout, so I’m taking him at 10+ assists and +250 odds.

Same Game Parlay:

Total odds are +2738; a $10 bet pays 273.80.

Add in Bogdan Bogdanovic at +700 to make the first basket (he’s done it twice and is the first point scorer for Atlanta in all three games) payout becomes +15666 and a $10 bet pays $1,566.56 if we win, $10 if we lose.
