Taysom Hill signed an extension with the New Orleans Saints back in April. That extension is currently worth $21 million over the next two seasons with $16 million guaranteed. Is Hill worth that price tag?
According to the masses on Twitter, the answer is a resounding no.
During the Monday Night Football game against the Los Angeles Chargers, Sean Peyton utilized Hill incorrectly once again, putting him in sporadically and only whenever quarterback Drew Brees seemed to find a rhythm.
Saints fans, analysts and other casual observers on social media are absolutely sick of it, too.

If the Saints offense was a Ferrari Taysom Hill would be the brakes.

Taysom Hill is like a flip phone. Once upon a time it was a cool gadget but now it’s incredibly lame.

Peyton has a serious infatuation with Hill, and no one can really figure out why. But will the Super Bowl winning coach eventually get away from the big investment that is the gadget quarterback? More than likely, the answer is no.
Better get used to it.
Hill was an undrafted free agent out of BYU back in 2017. At 30 years old, he is now considered one of the oldest “developmental” quarterbacks in the NFL. It’s a good thing the Saints are not hurting for cap space.

I’m sure Peyton gives a flying fuck what Tw@tter, of all things, thinks of his coaching decisions. I think people should live their lives according to what will piss off the twitter mob.
Yeah I think I kinda agree with twitter mob on this one. But I also have Drew Brees as my starting fantasy QB and Hill keeps vulturing my redzone TDs. I have feeling the other haters have a similar dilemma.
Breeze style takes all the fun out of football. Hurry up and retire so we can see jaimies Winston set some new int records.
Could not agree more. I was convinces the Saints would lose when Hill came in on 2nd down from the Chargers 16 in OT. And got 3 yards. Why? Why take out Brees who moved the Saints downfield easily to put in what the defense is expecting to be a QB run, which it was. Either throw the ball more with Hill or sit his ass on the bench, because the QB sweep play isn’t working.
