Saban Set To Join Peyton And Eli For ManningCast

The new, popular "ManningCast" is dipping into the college ranks for a guest to join hosts Peyton and Eli Manning for their casual Monday Night Football watch party. Per John Talty, Alabama head coach Nick Saban is expected to join the quarterback duo for tonight's ESPN 2 broadcast of the Eagles - Cowboys game. Just don't expect the Manning brothers to bark out "Roll Tide" anytime soon.

It seems likely Saban and the Manning boys will engage in a little light-hearted SEC smack-talk. Saban's troops are set to square off against Eli's alma mater, Ole Miss, on Saturday. And three weeks later, Peyton's Tennessee Volunteers get their shot at the Bama beast. Meaning, you probably won't find any mentions of "Roll Tide" in the quarterbacks' scripts.

Saban's spot on the Mannings' virtual couch should be of particular interest to Ole Miss. Head coach Lane Kiffin has been campaigning for Peyton and Eli to hop aboard the Lane Train and bring their ManningCast to the October 16th sibling rivalry game between the Rebels and Tennessee.

In the meantime, Kiffin can tune in tonight to see his former boss and current foe, Saban, chime in on a few former Alabama stars-turned Eagles. Philadelphia's offense features Jalen Hurts at quarterback, DeVonta Smith at wideout and Landon Dickerson on the line.

Monday evening marks the third consecutive week the brothers Manning have appeared in living rooms across the country. Peyton and Eli are scheduled for a total of 10 ManningCasts throughout the NFL regular season, though the remaining schedule has not yet been announced. An ESPN alternate broadcast record 1.9 million viewers tuned into last week's ManningCast, giving Saban one more record to beat.
