Ryan Garcia 'Dreams' Of Bout Against Manny Pacquiao

WBC interim lightweight champion Ryan Garcia wants a piece of Manny Pacquiao, and he just might get it.

Garcia posted a picture on social media of the two squaring off in the ring. It featured a caption that read such a fight would be "a dream turned to reality."

Garcia added: "It's an honor to share the ring with @mannypacquiao. I will always respect what you did in and out the ring. Here's to the best man winning."

No bout between the two has actually been confirmed, though Mike Coppinger of The Athletic reported that there have indeed been some preliminary talks.

Pacquiao, 42, hasn't fought since July 2019, when he won a 147-pound bout over Keith Thurman. Garcia, 22, last weighed in at 135 pounds and won the lightweight title by defeating Luke Campbell on Jan. 2.
