Sen. Rick Scott from Florida made a slight gaffe when he called out woke, kneeling NFL players, and Twitter was ready to pounce.
“We’re living in a nation where these woke, rich, pampered football players are kneeling for the Pledge of Allegiance,” said Scott during his speech at the Faith & Freedom conference.
Addressing this phenomenon in America’s most popular sport, Sen. Scott brought up the symbolic protests — which happen during the National Anthem — that demand rejection of so-called racial Americans institutions and that imply that those who stand in support of the American flag are “radical.”
Despite mixing up the Pledge and National Anthem, the crux of Scott’s message still rings true for many Americans who have watched politics play out at sporting events.
One can only assume that once the woke athletes discover what the Pledge of Allegiance stands for — the very the nation they are protesting — that they’ll give that up, too.
In 2020, a race relations poll showed that over half of the population believes that America is racist, a belief promoted by professional athletes like LeBron James and Colin Kaepernick.
The NFL draws millions of viewers every Sunday, some Mondays and Thursdays in between, so these protests and the league’s support of race-baiting groups, such as BLM, has driven audiences away.
Colin Kaepernick, known for spearheading a new era of race-baiting politics in the NFL, has used his platform to promulgate equality for African American players. His estimated net worth is over $20 million.

Really, half of people polled think America is racist? GTFOH. Where did they poll at AOC’s house? America is the best place for minorities to live. The fact that the very freedoms these liberal nitwits exercise are because they live in America shows their stupidity. My big question since 2015 has been, where does this end? Every day we read about cancelers getting canceled, so I guess when the left eats all of their own, or the rest of us get wise and collectively say enough is enough. I am espousing the view that we need two separate and distinct countries. One called America and another called, Wokistan and they can hand wring and whine all day and get nothing accomplished. Then when Wokistan runs out of money America won’t give that nation a loan. There problem solved.
