Ravens Ready, Focused For Revenge Game Against Titans

Last year, the Baltimore Ravens finished 14-2, only to lose their first playoff game. Their opponent? The Tennessee Titans.

This year, the Ravens finished 11-5. Guess who their first-round opponent is? Yep. The Titans.

Revenge, anyone?

"Definitely, because it was them," defensive tackle Brandon Williams told reporters. "So, now we get to see them again in the same scenario. Obviously, we have that sense in it, and we know what happened last year. And, obviously, we don't want the same thing to happen. So, we're going to come into Sunday ready to go."

The Titans were almost a team of destiny last season. They entered the playoffs as a Wild Card, first upsetting the New England Patriots on the road. Then they beat the Ravens, also on the road. Then they had the eventual-Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs on the ropes.

The Ravens wonder what could have been.

"I think almost the second that we lost that last game last year, I was thinking about, 'I want to get back to this moment. I want to get back to this moment, so we can see what we can do,'" tight end Mark Andrews said, via NBC Sports Washington. "We've got such a talented team. For us, the sky is the limit."
