Ravens OT Orlando Brown Jr. Wants Out Of Baltimore, Wants To Play LT Moving Forward

Baltimore Ravens' young offensive tackle Orlando Brown Jr. is not happy, and he reportedly wants out of Baltimore prior to the start of the 2021 season.

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport says that Brown does have one condition though if he's moved, which is he want to play left tackle, not right.

Brown played right tackle for two years but had to move to the left side of the line after an ankle injury knocked Ronnie Stanley out for the year in November.

The Ravens drafted Brown Jr. with their third round pick in the 2018 NFL Draft.

The son of the late offensive tackle Orlando Brown, who also played for the Ravens as well as the Cleveland Browns, Brown Jr. played his college ball at Oklahoma, and has been a steady force so far in his two seasons in the NFL.

It's hard to think that the Ravens would give up on Brown Jr. this quickly into this NFL career, but if a team is looking to add a solid tackle on their roster and the Ravens get what they want in return, they might just be willing to listen.

The Ravens have a tough decision to make with Stanley, who inked a massive five-year, $98.8 million extension in October.

Right now, Stanley is slated to be the team's starting left tackle in 2021 and beyond, which would mean Brown would have to return to right tackle, a spot he doesn't want to play.

Many think that playing left tackle in the NFL is a higher profile spot than right, which could be the reason Brown Jr. wants to stay there. It may help him maximize his earnings when a team is ready to give him a new contract, wherever and whenever that is.
