I don’t know what’s wrong with me lately

Confession: I’ve been watching MLS games on ESPN. I know, this isn’t the life I led before Rona, but here I am so desperate for live sports action that I’m watching MLS matches from Disney World. Friday night I was having beers and watching soccer. It felt so wrong. A friend asked why I was watching now but not before Rona. I think it’s pretty simple for me — the lack of fake, wannabe Euro soccer fans at MLS matches. I can’t stand the American fans & their dumb scarves beating on drums trying so hard to be Euro soccer guy.

That’s where I stand right now. Quarantined MLS is sucking me in and I think the only thing that will snap me out of this right now is live baseball and/or the NFL to return.
