Rams Don't Have First-Round Pick, But Put Together Sweet Draft Day Setup Anyway

The Los Angeles Rams don't have a first-round pick in this month's NFL Draft, so instead they have set themselves up to take it easy.

As relayed by Jordan Rodrigue of The Athletic, the Rams have decided to have a beach home in Malibu serve as their "war room," the area in which a team's brain trust gathers before making a draft selection.

The Rams actually traded their first-round pick -- and quarterback Jared Goff -- to the Detroit Lions as part of a deal for QB Matthew Stafford. So you can safely say they are viewing Stafford, and not some rookie, as their main offseason acquisition.
