After a Week 16 loss to the Miami Dolphins, Raiders receiver Nelson Agholor had had enough. According to witnesses, Agholor told his teammates that they “sucked” and “weren’t accountable”.
He’s not wrong.
After their Week 16 loss to Miami, #Raiders WR Nelson Agholor stormed into the locker room and told teammates that they “sucked” and no one is held accountable on the team. Full story here by @VicTafur as a big offseason looms. https://t.co/gQsdNZAcJK pic.twitter.com/kT9F5NaofM

If you aren’t sold on Agholor’s statements and feel he’s out of line, check this out: The rest of this report claims his teammates “said nothing” and that there was no exchange back and forth.
Clearly, they are a unit of players who understand and accept their fate to suck. It’s like being accused of cheating by a spouse. The fact you’re wrongfully accused should light some type of fire under you, but the Raiders just let it happen. It sounds like a guilty party.
Raiders’ head coach Jon Gruden was asked about this whole thing, and his comments were telling:
“I love Agholor, man.”
We’re not sure what that means, and he failed to provide further clarity on the issue. It seems likely that Gruden and Agholor are on the same page. Maybe it’s time for Jon Gruden to get rid of players with mindsets that don’t align with his?
We’re sure more on the situation will unfold, but until then, Raiders gonna’ Raider.
I think it means Chucky may have found a leader.
The receiver whose claim to fame in Philly was having brick hands?
It may also mean that John Gruden can no longer lead an NFL team.
