ProFootballDoc: Sunday NFL Will Be Like Conference Championships

Two big underdog upsets and Sunday's winners will host the conference championship games with a clear path to the Super Bowl.

Indeed, Derrick Henry was not close to being King Henry. He did have 20 carries but only for 62 yards, while D'Onta Foreman was the Titans' leading rusher with 66 yards on only four carries.

The Jimmy Garoppolo under prop was easy with his injuries, as San Francisco rode special teams plays to a victory.

All four teams Sunday have added incentive as inside the locker room, they all feel a win will get them to the Super Bowl. Expect hard-hitting contests.

L.A. RAMS +3 vs TAMPA BAY over 48.5

The Rams could be the first team to play in the Super Bowl in their home stadium in SoFi's first year. At SICscore.com, we think they will prevail. Both defenses have their share of injuries. Lavonte David and Shaq Barrett are playing thru injured and could be exposed by Matthew Stafford where Jalen Hurts couldn't take advantage. Meanwhile, Tom Brady is sure to test out 37 year-old Eric Weddle filling in at safety. A key tackle is out for each team as Andrew Whitworth is out for the Rams and we believe Tristan Wirfs is out for the Buccaneers. The Rams are healthier on offense overall as the Bucs are impacted at RB and WR. The advantage is not great but we lean to the Rams and over.

BUFFALO +1.5 vs KANSAS CITY under 54

Both teams view this as the "Conference Championship" game and I anticipate a hard-hitting defensive game despite the electric offenses. When Josh Allen is on the field, both teams are as healthy as possible. When Patrick Mahomes in on the field, the biggest Chiefs worry is at right tackle, while the Bills biggest loss is No. 1 CB Tre'Davious White. Clyde Edwards-Helaire is finally healthy and playing. No clear team injury advantages here. Just look for some good football.
