President Trump Set to Leave Walter Reed: 'Don't Be Afraid Of COVID'

Good news! At 6:30 p.m. today, President Donald Trump is set to leave Walter Reed Medical Center.

The president tweeted he "feels really good." In fact, better than he did 20 years ago. Mark that down as "pretty good."

Trump advised Americans not to fear COVID-19:

"Don’t let it dominate your life. We have developed, under the Trump Administration, some really great drugs & knowledge."

Undoubtedly, the media will spin that negatively and claim Trump isn't taking the virus seriously. Though, in reality, his tweet reflects exactly what the data shows.

Those in high-risk categories should remain extra cautious when it comes to the virus. No one denies that. Meanwhile, all other Americans should remain careful and considerate and wear a mask. They should not, however, live in fear.

According to new data from the CDC, individuals under 70 have at least a 99.5% survival rate.  For those 70 and older, the rate lowers to 94.6%.

Everyone at Outkick is glad to hear that the president is doing better and headed back to the White House.
