Police Chase Ends With Oregon Man & Woman’s Chance Meeting With Their Stolen Vehicles

The Newberg-Dundee, Oregon police department got themselves a two-fer Sunday morning that you rarely see in the criminal enterprise world. This is definitely one of the stranger arrest stories you’ll hear about. Cops were chasing a guy driving a suspected stolen Land Cruiser when the SUV crashed into a stolen Buick Regal occupied by a drunken woman. I’m telling you right now, those cops should go to Vegas and put it all on red because they’re officially on a heater right now.

Ask one of your cop friends. See if they’ve ever heard of something like this before.  From the Newberg-Dundee Police Department:

Here’s a new one for you to start the week. (*Press Release*)

On the morning of July 5, 2020, Newberg-Dundee Police officers responded to a report of a suspect that had just stolen a victim’s Toyota Land Cruiser. Officers located the stolen vehicle moments later as it drove through town. The suspect attempted to elude police through downtown Newberg and crashed the Land Cruiser into an occupied Buick Regal near E. Franklin & College St.

Officers took the suspect into custody from the Land Cruiser, but then learned the Buick Regal was also stolen from a completely unrelated crime that had been reported about three weeks prior. The driver of the stolen Buick was found to be under the influence of intoxicants and arrested as well.

The suspect driving the stolen Land Cruiser, Randy Lee Cooper (27 years old), of Portland, was arrested for Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle, Attempting to Elude Police, Assault-3, Reckless Driving and other related crimes.

The suspect driving the stolen Buick, Kristin Nicole Begue (25 years), of Newberg, was arrested for Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicants and Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle.

Sounds like some sort of Bachelor Gone Wild episode on ABC. Randy runs into Kristin while out cruising in his Toyota. Kristin is drunk, but can’t get it out of her head how Randy made such an incredible first impression. Next thing you know they’re meeting each others families and testing out the fantasy suite or whatever they call that room on Bachelor.

Here's a new one for you to start the week. (*Press Release*)On the morning of July 5, 2020, Newberg-Dundee Police…
