Pistons Sign LiAngelo Ball

The Detroit Pistons and LiAngelo Ball have agreed to a one-year, non-guaranteed deal, according to Yahoo Sports' Shams Charania. Now that all three Ball brothers have NBA contracts, we can admit that Lavar Ball isn't the worst dad ever after all. He's just beyond annoying.

What's most important is that the NBA already canceled its usual "Summer League" back in October. That means LiAngelo will likely get an opportunity to practice and run some games with the real roster. It's not everyday you see non-guaranteed contracts land that type of opportunity.

He's 6' 5," so he'll likely play at the two-guard spot if things work out. A team can't have enough of those in today's NBA. Ball was never considered much of an NBA prospect leading up to the signing, so it will be entertaining to see how he performs. LiAngelo shot over 41% from deep during the 2017-18 campaign overseas. He isn't bad.

We're honestly just waiting for Lavar Ball to tell us LiAngelo could take Dr. J one-on-one. It would be the perfect dessert for this signing.
