The Phoenix Suns took a break from kicking tail in the NBA bubble to get the families of their players to introduce them before Tuesday night’s game.
As you can see…the players were surprised.

We’re not crying. You are!
The Phoenix Suns are in the middle of a tight race for the playoffs, so what better time put a smile on some faces? The look on DeAndre Ayton’s face (who missed his COVID test Sunday night) was a look of relief. Refreshing to see something positive to come out the bubble experience.
This gesture felt like a friendly reminder that these guys forfeited family time to do their jobs. Surprising how natural Mikal Bridges’ mom sounded doing the intro! Might have a future in the business.
Phoenix seemed to loosen up after the unveiling of the video as they would go on to beat the Sixers handedly. Can’t say we saw the Phoenix Suns dominating on and off the court before the pandemic. Times are truly changing in the desert.
Great story! Definitely in the Top 10 of Athlete Introductions…tears, hell yes. 😎
