Phillies Fan Makes Incredible One-Handed Snag

Ice cream is becoming more and more expensive these days.

Just ask the young man who made a crazy, one-handed snag during a recent game against the New York Mets.

The ball was smacked foul by the Mets Michael Conforto, who sent a pitch down the left-field line.

Here's the video from Twitter:

The play took place in the top of the seventh with the Mets at bat. As mentioned, Michael Conforto fouled the 0-2 pitch into the stands, and the young fan made a heck of a play WITHOUT losing any of his ice cream.

The Phillies and Mets followed up the wild foul ball play on Sunday with another classic on Sunday evening.

In that game, it appeared that the Mets were set to take a loss, but their offense came to life in the 8th inning and scored six times.

Conforto snapped a tie with a bases-loaded walk against José Alvarado, driving in Jose Peraza, and Alonso followed with a liner off David Hale that split the gap in right-center and went all the way to the wall for an 8-4 lead.

The Phillies had a tying three-run homer from Rhys Hoskins that was initially ruled fair by first base umpire Jose Navas, but the call was overturned and the Mets went on to win 8-7.
