Got my money's worth out of a blazing hot weekend

Going to toot my horn here a little bit this morning since I spent the majority of the weekend in the blazing heat working on a flagstone project after moving four yards of topsoil and then spending yesterday outside golfing. It was hovering around 100 all weekend. Now some of you -- and probably my neighbors -- are thinking why would you do a big yard project now when it could've been done months ago. Because I actually like the heat of the summer.

After working inside during football season for around six to seven months in northern Ohio the body needs these blazing hot summer days to recharge the batteries. A month from now it'll be closing in on hoodie weather at night and then it won't be long until I'm miserable inside. So if you're north of the Ohio River I don't want to hear any complaining out of you guys. Get out there, soak up the heat, get a solid sweat in and then end it on the couch with the air conditioning set to 69.

As for the flagstone project, it's coming along. Need the fence guy to stop by and do what we paid him to do and then it'll be 95% done. Of course, I'm not dropping photos of the project until it's 100% done and the grass doesn't look like it's July. I need that grass looking like the fairways at The Memorial.
