Peter King Thinks Clemson RB Travis Etienne Could Be A Huge Weapon In Buffalo

There’s no question that used the right way, running back Travis Etienne of Clemson could be a useful weapon once the NFL season kicks off.

Etienne leads what’s considered to be a rather lackluster draft class, but his play on the field has spoken for itself this past season, rushing for 914 yards and 14 scores.

Usually the No. 1 ranked running back in any draft goes somewhere in the top 15. That could very well change this year, as many have Etienne falling all the way to the 20s.

The Buffalo Bills are one team hoping that Etienne does slip so that they have a chance to draft him and give their offense another piece.

NFL Insider Peter King calls Etienne a “great puzzle piece in an offense that craves speed in the backfield.”

RBs Devin Singletary and Zack Moss are already on the roster, and the team also has former 49ers running back Matt Breida and Taiwan Jones on their depth chart.

Sure the Bills could use a big play RB like Etienne, but they also have many other legit needs. Let’s see what route they go.
