Paige VanZant Proves Yet Again That She Knows How To Sell A Bare-Knuckle Fight

Paige VanZant, who was healing up from having her face smashed in via bare fists the last time we checked in with the former UFC fighter, is scheduled for her second bare knuckler this summer, and she has deployed her tried and true marketing strategy.

"Come for the boobies, stay for the violence," VanZant wrote this week on Instagram where she announced her next opponent will be fellow former UFCer Rachael Ostovich (4-6 MMA record including a 2019 armbar loss to VanZant in 2019; it was VanZant's final UFC victory), who seems to understand the marketing strategy.

Ostovich unleashed her own bikini content this week as these two crank up the heat to sell their July 23 fight.

This will be VanZant's second bare-knuckle fight. She lost her debut to Britain Hart by unanimous decision, but that's not what mattered back in February. VanZant was being paid to move pay-per-views, and the money she's making is real good.

“I was in the UFC for six years getting paid $40,000 (to show) and $40,000 (to win), and now I’m getting ten times that doing what I love,” she said before the February fight.

Ostovich, who lost three straight UFC fights and was cut from the organization, brings her own firepower to BKFC. She checks in with a very respectable 760k Instagram followers and doesn't mind matching VanZant in the "boobies" department.

"It’s a Fight girl summer for meeeeeee. 🥊 Let’s run this back real quick. 👀 See y’all July 23rd," the 30-year-old fighter wrote on Instagram.

It's time to sell a fight, ladies. Get it on!
