San Diego Padres star shortstop Fernando Tatis Jr. has just exited a spring training game against the Cincinnati Reds with an undisclosed injury. All we know now is that his body language walking off the field didn’t look good.

Padres-Dodgers is the matchup of the year, so Tatis missing any part of that rivalry this season would be a tragedy. And what’s worse is that Padres fans haven’t had an opportunity to watch him live in over a year because of COVID regulations. The least the baseball gods could do is let San Diego enjoy their new $340 million man, right?
The face of Major League Baseball is hurt, and we’re just waiting on an update. Hopefully it’s not as serious as it appeared.
It was probably from the throw, not a lower body injury. Like wrist, elbow, shoulder. But he didn’t seem to be in excruciating pain, wasn’t grabbing anything.
