Packers GM Gutekunst Says They Have Begun Working On Aaron Rodgers' Contract

It's been the saga of the spring for the Green Bay Packers.

Since they walked off the field with heads down following a NFC Title game loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, there's been one massive question that the franchise needs to answer.

What's the long term solution to making QB Aaron Rodgers happy?

Today, GM Brian Gutekunst spoke to the media about the draft, with the understanding that he would get hit with the A-Rod question as well.

“Aaron’s our guy. He’s going to be our quarterback for the foreseeable future,” Gutekunst said.

Well, Gutekunst is saying all the right things. The real question is, does he have to get something done fast to settle down all sides?

After the NFC Title loss, it looked like the Packers would make a LOT of changes in 2021 and that Rodgers' tenure with the team might even come to an end.

Now, everyone seems to have settled down. The big name free agents are coming back, the team and Rodgers are eventually going to get him to ink the deal that fans have been waiting for, and this proud organization has managed to return most of last year's team.

Let's see if that truly makes everyone happy.
