With that in mind, here we go with the Outkick Top Ten.
1. Georgia
Beat Auburn on the road and Georgia will be 12-0 in Atlanta.
And it's hard to see how 12-1 Georgia would be left out of the playoff.
2. Alabama
The Tide still has road games at Mississippi State and at Auburn, but it's hard to see either of these teams pulling off an upset.
So 12-0 Bama against Georgia seems likely.
3. Notre Dame
And then there were three.
At Miami, Navy and then at Stanford.
If the Fighting Irish go 11-1 they're in the playoff.
4. Oklahoma
Here's the biggest battle in the rankings, do you put Oklahoma, Clemson or Miami in the four spot right now?
I've got Oklahoma by virtue of two road wins -- at Ohio State and at Oklahoma State -- that are better than anyone else's best wins.
5. Clemson
The fact of the matter is this, if Clemson finishes 12-1 the Tigers will be in the playoff.
That's because the ACC title game will feature Miami, who could be 11-0.
6. Miami
It's Catholics vs. Convicts all over again.
And whoever wins will be set up perfectly for the playoff.
7. Wisconsin
I know, I know the Badgers are undefeated.
But they'll have to be 13-0 to get a playoff berth given the fact that the rest of the Big Ten collapsed on Saturday.
8. TCU
TCU plays at Oklahoma this coming weekend in yet another playoff elimination game for the Big 12.
Lose and there's still a chance that 10-2 TCU could get a rematch in the Big 12 title game.
9. Washington
The Huskies are 8-1.
Would a 12-1 finish with a win over USC in the Pac 12 title game get them into the playoff mix? It seems somewhat doubtful.
The Pac 12 playoff dreams appear to be in trouble.
10. Oklahoma State
I've got the Cowboys here because they're the only two loss team to have only lost to top ten teams.
