OutKick The Tailgate: Can Stetson Bennett Win The Game For Georgia?

Videos by OutKick

Entering the SEC Championship Game against No. 3 Alabama at 4:00 p.m. on CBS, No. 1 Georgia’s offense will have its stiffest test.

During OutKick the Tailgate at STATS Brewpub in Atlanta on Saturday, OutKick’s Jonathan Hutton said he wants to see how Georgia quarterback Stetson Bennett fares against Alabama’s defense.

“It is bizarre that the discussion is more about the Heisman favorite Bryce Young and what he can do against Georgia’s defense than what Stetson Bennett can do against Bama’s defense,” Hutton said.

OutKick’s Jill Savage, meanwhile, wants to see a scenario where Bennett has to win the game for Georgia himself. He may have to against Alabama’s No. 7 ranked defense in the country.

“Is anybody going to go out and give Georgia a run for their money where Stetson Bennett has to make some pressure throws late in the fourth quarter?” Savage said. “We’ve been waiting to see that.”
